Ceramic gain materials are manufactured by Konoshima Chemical in Japan, and fabricated by Baikowski Japan Co. Thanks to their long-term cooperation, Baikowski Japan appointed Cristal Laser in 2017 as their only distributor of ceramic materials in Europe.
Ceramic YAG and single YAG crystals have same absorption and emission spectrums, fluorescence lifetime and thermal conductivity. But ceramic YAG exhibit superior features compared to single crystals.
